Today's Wednesday which means I get to work at home, meaning no hour commute in the morning. I should have been able to spend more time swimming but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it into the the pool too much before water aerobics started which means 5 lanes were used for aerobics and 1 lane for lap swimming. This wouldn't be so bad except all of the snorkelers and older swimmers just jump right in with me. Below is what I intended to do, the yards are correct but the times are a bit off since I had to take more rest at times to let someone else pinball their way down the lane :(

Swimming: 3500 yards
500 swim
400 pull
300 kick

4 x 100 IM :40 rest
sprint fly
sprint back
sprint breast
sprint free
9 x 100 free :60 rest/set
1-3 on 1:40
4-6 on 1:35
7-9 on 1:30
10 x 50 free :20 rest
no breath from the flags in
no breath until 3+ strokes from wall
6 x 50 kick sprint :20

200 warmdown
Running:
None

Biking:
None

Additional:
  • Lifted upper body
  • Used the elliptical for ~10 minutes and did ~1.25 miles
Comments:
I really need to get to bed sooner so that I can get up earlier so that I can have more time during lap swimming, it's really hard to swim what I want to while splitting a lane with someone. Also, on the days like today where I have more time to do stuff other than swimming I should run/bike instead of taking the easy road and using the elliptical
